Christmas in Mexico: Travelling to Guanajuato

The city centre was deprived of any attractions apart from an old church and an extremely tiny park. The only christmas decoration it had was a donkey, dressed up as Santa Donkey. ... especially if they are just for filling the closet. León was chosen, because they have a large shoe-manufacturing industry. Our main target was this loooong shopping mall street, where you could only buy shoes or eat hamburgers. Half a km of shoe stores on both sides... I was disgusted! ...
